Mestizo – New Album out January 2016

Mongrel State forthcoming debut album, Mestizo, is being launched in Whelans on 30th January 2016.

The album was recorded with Americana Producer, Artist & TXFM Radio DJ Gavin Glass.

The band is called Mongrel State not just because their music is a mix of different Americana styles –  all four members hail from different countries: Darren is Irish, Claudio, Italian, Guillermo, Spanish and Sebastian is Argentinian

Claudio and Darren, the main songwriters, share lead vocal duties, but all four members sing, meaning there are often four-part harmonies going on . A devotion to old rock&roll and rockabilly is what initially brought the guys together and inspired them to write their own music.
